Terms and Conditions

The minimum age of the person making the booking must be 30 years or older.

The villa may only be occupied by the persons listed on the booking form and may only be used for vacation purposes. Illegal purposes or subletting are strictly prohibited. In such cases, the tenant will be required to vacate the property immediately, and no refund will be given.

You and your party agree not to cause any nuisance by producing excessive noise or engaging in any antisocial behavior. In such cases, you may be asked to leave the property, which will result in a cancellation on your part. In this case, Mojacasa will not be responsible for any refund of rent paid, additional costs incurred as a result of not being able to stay in the property, and will have no obligation to find alternative accommodation for you.

Furniture may not be moved from indoors to outdoors under any circumstances, as this may cause damage from the sun.

Mojacasa reserves the right to withdraw any amenities or facilities advertised without prior notice, due to repairs, maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control. No refund will be given for this if the villa itself is available.

Booking

By sending us the electronic booking form, you are making an offer to rent our property. This will result in a binding contract if we accept your offer.

A rental contract is only valid once you have received a booking confirmation from us by email.

Mojacasa reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement before or during the rental period if unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances make it impossible to hand over the rental villa.

Price

The price of the villa shown at the time of booking is the price of the accommodation, including final cleaning and any extras mentioned. Final cleaning is charged as a mandatory service. You are expected to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. You are responsible for any additional cleaning costs that are not covered by normal cleaning: this includes cleaning the oven and ovenware, microwaves, cleaning barbecues, and removing any rubbish that has not been disposed of before departure. Tidying and removing rubbish from bedrooms, kitchens, cleaning used equipment, etc. will be charged extra.
Payments are only accepted in euros. Once you have received a confirmed booking, you are obliged to pay the full cost of your stay. Half of the rental price must be paid at the time of booking, the other half at least 60 days before departure. We also recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

Deposit

A deposit of €500 will be requested at the start of the rental period. This will be refunded at the end of the rental period, minus any electricity consumption and any damage caused.

Cancellations

If you need or wish to cancel a booking, please let us know as soon as possible. We will then try to rent the villa to someone else. If we succeed, we will refund the amount paid minus €100 in administrative costs.

If we are unable to find another tenant, we will unfortunately be unable to offer a refund. We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

Pets

In principle, pets are not allowed. You can always submit a request for permission. Please contact us to discuss this.

Arrival and departure

The property can be occupied from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. Exceptions to this rule can only be made with our written confirmation.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please report it as soon as possible. We will then deal with the problem as quickly as possible. Mojacasa cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred or claimed by you in the event that you decide to leave the property early.
Villa Mojacasa is not liable for burglary, theft, etc. of your personal belongings, both inside and outside the villa. We recommend that you take out travel insurance.

The General Terms and Conditions are drawn up in Dutch. This version is therefore the binding version. Translations have been made as accurately as possible, but in the event of any differences in language, only the Dutch version will be valid.
